2014 Kangaroo Valley Folk Festival

KangarooValleyFFWe enjoyed the Turning Wave hugely and are now gearing up for the Kangaroo Valley Folk Festival (17-19th October). Our two gigs are on Sunday – 12pm concert in the Marquee and a workshop called “Heavy Lifters”: songs of Australian Working Lives – 2.30-3.30 in the Pony Club.

Turning Wave Festival 2014

The Turning Wave Festival (19-21 September, 2014) is not too far off. The Forties will be there singing in a couple of concerts and hosting some singing sessions.

Many folkies will remember Len Neary who presided over some great singing sessions over many years. Len died 24 Sept 2013 and we’d like to dedicate this year’s sessions at the Royal Hotel in Yass to his memory.
