St Albans Folk Festival, held over a weekend close to Anzac Day, is home to quality Traditional & Contemporary Folk Music, Australian Bush Music, Music Sessions, Workshops, Dances, Poetry and Children’s Activities. The event showcases local and international performers, song writers and musicians. The festival runs a market of food, produce and other stalls. Patrons travel for the day or camp on the banks of the McDonald River 20kms from Wisemans Ferry in the beautiful Hawkesbury River area, North of Sydney and West of Gosford.
The village has one of the oldest pubs in Australia, the Settlers Arms and a Historical Cemetery.

The Top Half is one of the longest running folk festivals in Australia. The 44th Top Half Folk Festival was held at Mary River Park, about 110 km east of Darwin on the Arnhem Highway over the 2014 Queen’s Birthday Weekend – 6-9 June. |

The Turning Wave Festival is an outstanding celebration of Irish & Australian music and the related arts held on the 3rd weekend in September featuring events and performances, catering for music & arts enthusiasts, families who wish to enjoy a safe festival, and those who just come to soak up the atmosphere and the friendliness.
In conjunction with the festival we also conduct the Summer School of Irish Music, a programme of Master Classes, and a Junior Fleadh for children wishing to learn an instrument in the Irish Tradition.
